Bill Mager started
calling in 1980. He regularly
calls in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. Bill calls beginner level thru
A1. Besides the Hayloft he calls
for the Central Valley Squares in Farmington,
Glastonbury and Manchester.
Bill has agreed to teach while
Matt is away. I wonder if he
knows what it in store at graduation?

Matt McGovern is one of our newer and younger members who frequently
is a guest caller at the Hayloft.
He began Square Dancing in 2004.
After dancing for a year, and with a couple of caller’s motivations he
took up calling. He called his first Singing Call In January of 2006 at
a round dance lesson. After that he began doing guest calling tips all
over New England. In October of
2006 Matt went to his first callers’ school, The Northeast Callers
School in Manchester,
NH.
Matt currently calls for his own club, The Ferris Wheelers, which is
located In Wilbraham, MA.

Leo
Boudreau also graces us between tips with his own style of rounds.
Leo
lives in Athol with his wife Esther and started both square and round
dancing back in the early sixties when the Hayloft was in its
infancy.
He has
been cuing and teaching rounds for fourteen years and is currently
working with Don Scadova (in Keene,
New Hampshire) and his round
dance group on Sunday afternoons.
